Welcome to The North London Golf Academy
The North London Golf Academy was started in March 2009 by the Director of Golf Adrian Cafaro after what he describes as outgrowing his previous position at Playgolf Northwick Park in Harrow. He originally set up the golf academy within a local large leisure centre, where he converted a disused gymnasium into an Indoor golf academy. In addition Adrian created from scratch an outside 6 hole junior golf course complete with score cards, signage and a handicap scoring system for fun competitions and practice. In October 2009 Darren Bragg, another ex Playgolf Northwick Park PGA Professional joined The North London Golf Academy.
Learning and improving golf in the UK is very weather dependant with over 80% of golfers being detered by dark, cold and wet conditions. This is not a problem at our golf academy since all the technology for improvement is indoors. Those golfers who want to learn or improve should also consider the quality of coaching available to them e.g. Is the coach you are seeking PGA qualified? Is video coaching available during lessons? What type of feeback and communication will you receive. Seeking out a PGA golf professional means that they have undergone a 3 year extensive training programme including sitting exams, assignments and competing in PGA regional professional tournaments, which all contribute towards helping your golf. Do not presume that every golf professional working in this country is PGA qualified, this is not the case. Very many professionals are operating under the guise of inferior "teaching bodies" we shall call them who issue teaching diplomas after completing a 7 days course and charge a nominal fee for doing so. Many of these so called golf professionals will enrol on these courses if they cannot reach the low handicap level required as the set standard of the British PGA. All PGA coaches will be able to prove they are members of the British PGA by showing you their membership card and only those professionals who have gone through the training programme can call themselves PGA qualified.

3 Indoor Sports Coach golf simulators including analytical shot data, built in launch monitor, cSwing video technology, Indoor putting and chipping green, FREE PARKING outside the golf academy at David Lloyd in beautiful private grounds. You can even have your car washed while you have your golf lesson. The North London Golf Academy has affiliations with 3 local private golf courses to conduct golf playing lessons.
Whether you are a complete beginner or you are an experienced player we can help you get the most from your game. The attached PGA Professionals Adrian and Darren carry a wealth of knowledge and experience, which they are ready to help you with. Experience ranging from competing on Tour to University Masters research and as such proving to be an expert with juniors regarding the golf talent development process. With our extensive expertise and using cSwing video analysis software, we can record your technique and within seconds give you visual and verbal feedback. Adrian Cafaro's favorite expression is "what you think you are doing and what you are in fact doing, will be 2 very different things" for this you have to see it to believe it. Video feedback has been scientifically proven to be the best method of feedback to improve your golf technique in comparison to solely audio feedback or practice alone.
We are fully qualified in the area of custom fitting, repair and re gripping of golf clubs. We sell Cleveland and Snake Eyes golf clubs. All golf lessons must be purchased at the time of booking and golf lessons purchased must be used within 4 months unless agreement has been made prior to expiry. We do no offer refunds but golf lessons are transferable to another person If a request is made to a director. At least 48 Hours must be given prior to cancelling golf lessons or you will be charged. All golf coaches are self employed.
Any voucher deals purchased via a third party e.g. Wowcher or Living Social are valid for one visit only after this any golf lessons must be bought through The North London Golf Academy Ltd.
